COMMENT
This was an very interesting article about politics.
South Korea is a democracy. But when I read this sentence, I have doubt.
"The first principle is that all members of the society have equal access to power and the second that all members enjoy universally recognized freedoms and liberties."
Becuase I think that the principle in korea does not follow this rule.
How think you about this ?

  1. Although South Korea is a democratic country, we can often witness repression of freedom or prevent the legitimate exercise of citizens.
In the recent announcement of the WEF, corruption of Korea was the ninth among OECD countries.
South Korea is now unable to serve as a proper democracy.
To improve this point, Korea must operate policies transparently and should guarantee the freedom of expression without suppressing legitimate criticism for the state power.

  3. I also agree with you. In economic part, vulnerable people are difficult to think because they are busy to their economic problems. Therefore, it is hard to think they enjoy recognized freedom. However, first principle is literally "principle", In addition, politically, all people in the Republic of Korea can access to political power by having right of the vote and have freedoms. Practically it is difficult that everyone have real freedom and equality of the real power. But we will be close to it.

  4. I think "all members of the society have equal access to power " this sentence is idle. This is so far from reality.
All country have point of sameness in a regard power inequality. But The way which each country handle is different. Some country solve this unequal. On the other hand some country fixate the gap.
