summary)
Socialization is a social process that humans to function in social life and  adoption of culture. and socialization is going to be different in every culture. While socialization is a key sociological process in the development of individuals, not every aspect of human
behavior is learned.
Socialization is generally divided into two part. Primary socialization and Secondary socialization.
Primary socialization takes place early in life.
But, Secondary socialization takes place throughout one's life and is acquired in response to the acquisition of new group memberships and roles and differently structured social situations. Significant contributors to the socialization process are : parents, guardians, friends, schools siblings or other family members.
and in socialization, there are two type more!
Broad socialization has the potential of resulting in a broad range of outcomes.
and Narrow socialization has that of narrow range of outcomes.

There are Total Institutions to resocialize individuals who were not successfully socialized to begin with. The most common examples of total institutions include mental hospitals, prisons, and military boot camps.

One of the most common example used to illustrate the importance of socialization is that child live in wild. Child who have lived in the wild, can't live life of normal humans.

Theoretical Understandings of Socialization have been quite a variety of definitions and theories of socialization.
that example this : Symbolic Interactionism, Role Theory, Reinforcement Theory, Internalization Theory.

And... Socialization and Social Class!
lower class parents were more likely to emphasize conformity in their children whereas middle-class parents were more likely to emphasize creativity and self-reliance.
lower-class parents emphasize conformity in their children. because!
they experience conformity in their day-to-day activities.
but recently, some other research appear.

Socialization and Death Preparation
Marshall interviewed a number of retirement home residents.
As a result, He found that numerous factors contributed to the socialization of residents into a positive lifestyle that was also accepting their impending deaths.

my opinion)
I'm sometimes used to think that "if I have lived other circumstance, I'm changed?" I'm little bit timid. I think circumstance that I have lived play a big role. I would like to live my life as I want. Even so, I'm glad. because I'm not have lived in wild. oh, terrible!
Today, I'm studied many things too. and age that must think about death
come to me. I feel strange.

question)
I'm getting confused because I don't know that I finished primary socialization. You can more clearly divide this two socialization (primary, secondary)?

  1. I'll answer your question. Primary socialization is the basic socialization takes place in the family and peer relationships in infancy and childhood. Secondary socialization is the socialization takes place in specialized agencies such as school or work.
