Do you agree with this description of human nature, attributing evil to economy?

I completely agree with these description.
If human see drowning child, drowning, human automatically empathize with the child and they try to rescue. I think the pure humans have good heart.
However, when human are in the competition of society. they have "self-interest" in the name of reason.
But Never selfish human are not rational.
For example, a situation that had made concessions is better rather than seek to each other better. Selfishness rather drop the efficiency and benefit of the whole
like "prisoner's dilemma."
