[ Q. Why is god in Christianity often portrayed as a male? ]

I have a question. In the original bible, were there any description for god? I don’t know very well about bible. But, I know Christianity trusts in only god. So this god’s symbol is very important. If the original bible said that the god is male, people who believe Christianity think ‘the god is male.’ because they think the bible is first priority.

I think a religion is very conservative. So when the ‘BIBLE’ was made a writer descript god as male, or descendents descript god as male for a long time, the believers have no choice but to believe and descript that ‘god is male.’ A fixed habit calling god as father would be a custom and people couldn’t go against the general trend.

Plus, as we know, the most last century, female don’t have big power in most religion. For example, priests or minister are generally male for this time. In past, people can’t imagine female priest. it could be one of the reason why god portrayed as a male.
