1_What I learned with sixth week Wikipedia link.

Trough socialization, people learn many norms and get ready for being member of our society. Socialization is different. It is depending on the culture. Also not every aspect of human behavior is learned from socialization. Some parts of human behavior are biologically determined.
Socialization lasts a lifetime, but typically divided into two parts, primary and secondary socialization. Primary and secondary socialization is classified depending on the timing. Primary socialization happens early, and secondary socialization happens throughout one's life. Socialization also classified into broad socialization and narrow socialization.
2_Mention & Question about this week study.
While I read this week Wikipedia link, I thought about children. If there are children in poor environment where children can't get enough socialization, can they adjust normally in society when they grow up and become adult? I think they can, but maybe that need much struggle.
In this reason, I think primary socialization is very important. This influence to build up children's upright character. In modern society, I think parents are too busy to take care their children well. Also modern parents don't know what is good for their children and just think about temporary happiness. I expect if there are many children who get primary socialization well in their home, our society will be full of consideration. I wonder our classmates idea about my opinion! Do you agree? Or not?

I read your posting very well. I agree your opinion. I think parents are very important people to children who grow up. But the economy is not good these days. So, to have a dual income is inevitable.

ReplyDeleteI read your post very well. All children learn most thing from their parents. So I think parents are very important to children's socialization. But I think these days, some parents didn't do their role. If all parents do their role to children, probably all children get socialization very well.
