Summary
What is the deviance? Deviance is a behavior that violate cultural norms. Formal
deviance means to violate what is legislated. And informal deviance means to
violate informal social norms. These deviant behaviors could be analyzed with structural
functionalism, conflict theory and labeling theory edit. Following structural functionalism,
deviant behavior can imbalance societal
equilibrium. And following conflict theory, it caused by the imbalance power
and resources of the society. Lastly, labeling theory is that past actions
affect the interpretation of the current action.
Mention&Question
Nobody would not the people who do not deviant behavior. I also have a
deviant experience. In high school night self-study, I have been sneak away
many times. I think, it is in deviant behavior because it is a bounden duty but
I didn’t on my mind. It’s almost half forced, and an atmosphere of the school
is everyone do night self-studying. But someone say it is not in deviant
behavior, because it’s name is “self” study. In this way, it may change
department of categories depending on the individual’s point of view.
Can you say accurate standard what is that of how much abnormal, or
deviant behavior?

I agree with 도현's opinion. Deviant is relative. So standard is very ambiguous word. But crime can be deviant in all society.

And the size of the penalties will tell you whether it is how abnormal and deviant behavior.
