Posting By Ji Min Kim(W(11))-(The causes of war)

#Summary

Many theorists have tried to explain why war happens when people do not want it.
http://www.kuk-wehrmacht.de/gefechte/17561001lobositz.htmlHistorian - Historians believed that there were some conditions but could not predict.
Social scientists - Before the war begins, leaders do not think it is accidental because they make conscious decisions.
Psychologist (Theory) - John Bolwei said. Men are essentially violent. Also, mainly psychologists said that human temperament causes war. Especially by mentally unbalanced male leaders. In addition, humans have been analyzed as an extension of action to compete in territory.
Anthropological theory - viewed from a different perspective. I think that war does not occur naturally but rather occurs according to the environment. It is also thought to have occurred because of the capriciousness of the leader.
Sociological Theory - Sociology was interested in the origins of war. There are many theories, but we have not predicted future wars.
Information Theory - War is caused by a lack of information, which means that if the other party has a lot of information and they are disadvantaged, they will surrender. This war is determined by factors such as economy and power.
Economic Theory - War is caused by wealth, the pursuit of natural resources
Marxist Theory - War is what happens to class. War is free market
Because it is the natural result of the class system, it does not disappear until the world revolution
.

Interesting point & Question

I think most of the wars I think are unfolding for their own benefit. My thoughts are closer to economic theory and Marxian theory. But I read this article and came up with information theory. War is often lost due to lack of information. For example, it is Napoleon's Russian-like war. But I think that psychological theory is not right. The reason why the war is taking place because of the men seems to be deterred.

I would like to ask your professor. Is war justifiable? What is the criteria for a reasonable war? I wonder if the war really gives the victor a reward of sacrifice.
