Summary

-Collective Behavior

 Collective behavior is concept including ill-prepared crowding behavior and systematic social behavior. For example, religious revival meeting, a panic in a burning theater, a sudden widespread interst in a website. A crowd is a gathering of people who has same purpose. The crowds are addicted to negative emotion, that led to a riot or a mass hysteria.

-Social Movements

 Social movements are social behavior that has a influence. It include official social behavior or unoffical social behavior. Types of social movements is four: Alternative social movement, Redemptive social movement, Reformative social movement, Revolutionary social movement. Theory of social movement is various thing, it is deprivation theory, mass-society theory, and so on.


Opinion

 This topics are very relevant matter to today's Korean. When I read the articles of Collective Behavior and Social Movements, in my head, drawing candlelight vigil. It is very serious and sedate happening.
