Summary

1)Family
Families are formed through 1. a common ancestor, 2. marriage, 3. adoption, and 4. other relationships. We usually think of the family as a community of mothers, fathers, and children. However, in recent years, this social structure have begun to change.
Also, the way in which family relations are structured is culturally diverse. For example, there are monogamy (the most common), polygamy (polygyny, polyandry) and polyamory. There are also attitudes toward endogamy that require relationships with specific groups as a factor in diversifying family relationships culturally. There are also customs that cultures share. (exogamy)
The most basic role that a family performs is to reproduce children as a member through socialization. From a child's perspective, a family is ‘a family of orientation’. From a parent's point of view, the family is ‘a family of procreation’.
(The family life circle)
Courtship
It is a dating period before marriage. During this time, couples know about each other and decide to marry. This can be done without personal contact. It also exists in various ways depending on the times and regions.
Marriage
Marriage means sexually intimate interpersonal relationships governmentally, socially, and religiously. The marriage we commonly know is between men and women. However, as mentioned above, various forms of marriage exist on each culture.
Children
Many scholars have studied children even before. For example, there are many researches like 'the children of one parent have more behavioral problems', 'parents' influence is weaker in choosing children's mates ',' the degree of autonomy in raising children ',' Economic status ".
Death and widowing
It means the end of the marriage of two people, and on the other hand means the opportunity of remarriage.
2)Aging
Aging means the process a person matures socially and biologically. The process from infancy to old age can be considered as the process of aging. There are also many ways in which people see aging. In the West, youth is considered the best value. However, in the East, aging is regarded as a symbol of wisdom and interpreted more positively than Western. In addition, the criteria for distinguishing young and old are also different from society to society. That is, this is a relative concept. Age can also be a criteria to discriminate people. Ageism exists at every stage of youth, old. There is discrimination due to youth, and there is discrimination due to aging. In society, the income of older people is relatively small. While efforts are being made to address the poverty of the elderly, such as welfare through taxes, it is still impossible to make a complete resolution. There is also much research on the relationship between various factors such as gender, sexuality, and race. The average age is increasing worldwide. However, this does not show ratio inequality between countries.
Opinion&Question
Learning this reading, I'm surprised the many results that research family and aging sociologically like correlation between social factors ( inequality, race, gender, income, culture, social problems).
And I'm interesting two points. One is The family life circle. this explains the family's circulation like organism. I think this point is similar to Functionalism theory.
The other is the part of 'aging and income'. this teaches me three  is realistic solution to resolve erdely poverty. But, I'm sad to this is completely remove the inequality. Of course, there is nothing complete. I'm hope to the problem is modified hurry.
Finally, I have a question about family. In this reading, I learned there are various form cosists of family. And I heard this includes minority that has outlawed group. Then, How can solve the identity problem that made by culture's diverse?
