#SUMMARY(Collective Behavior)
http://blog.naver.com/namzoo101010/2208597629091.Collective action
Group behavior is a voluntary action.
Group behavior is limited and involves short interactions, but groups tend to be longer
There is also no clear social boundaries. Anyone can become a member. Also It is week and creates unconventional norms.
Traditionally, collective action in sociology includes the crowd, the public, the mass, and the social movement.
There is a sociologist's opinion that it now includes riot.
Sociologists understand the social movement organizations that pursue social change. You can provide the tools you need.
2.Crowds
It is a gathering of people who share purpose and intention and influence each other.
There are four categories. Causal, conventional, expressive, acting
The gathering of the crowd can be extended all over the world. There are also theories to explain crowd theory. The first is the theory of contagion. The enthusiasm of the crowd is literally contagious and will grow over time. But there is a problem. Unreasonably present the crowd.
The second is the convergence theory. It is a theory that people with the same mind come together.
But there are drawbacks. The disadvantage is that it is anonymous, so it may act strange.
Emergent-Norm theory is a combination of the two preceding theories.
The important thing of these gatherings of the crowd is the media. The media is should well controlled and accurate.
The crowd's gathering will not go to riot until you tell them.

Interesting points & questions
Nowadays, many people participate in the rally in Korea. I think the current rally can be explained by three theories. I also think the role of the press is important to the gathering of the crowd. The reason is that the media should be able to tell if the crowd meeting is reasonable and reasonable.
I would like to ask the professor.
If the crowd meeting is peaceful and reasonable, but if the purpose of the rally is not attained, in what way should the goal be achieved? Or should we just give up?
Also, do you think it is right for the crowd to act violently if the police act violently even in a peaceful rally? Is this behavior a riot?

Social movements are social alliances of people connected through common interests. They may have different causes, but they have the same goal. These movements have spread to various movements, usually political rights, environmental movements, peace movements, and labor movements. But these social movements can resonate. There are many social movement theories.Theories of deprivation, mass social theory, structural transformation theory, resource mobilization theory, political process theory, and culture theory are examples. The theory of deprivation is to deprive yourself of something and exercise.Mass society theory is to exercise by thinking that individuals are members of a group.Structural deformation theory is a theory that combines several factors.Resource mobilization theory emphasizes the importance of resources. Knowledge, labor, and power.Political process theory has three components. There are rebel rituals, organization, and political opportunities. Most of them do exercise with dissatisfaction.Cultural theory is based on the political process and mobilization theory, but it is a movement that has been further expanded in two aspects.

Interesting points & questions
I also thought that it would be done by people who are appropriate for social movement. There are many reasons for social movements. In the past, I think that the current social movements are political reasons. In the past, the same is true, as if the king wronged politics and the people rebelled. What I have felt is that social movements will help the country improve, but if it does not, it will become poisonous.
