The topics we received today were not all distant themes, and they were social contents very closely related to us.

Meaning difference between past and present family

Traditionally, the meaning of a traditional family means 'to divide blood'. However, the current family definition is common ancestry, marriage, adoption, any other romanticism or relationship with other relationships. It is called. Just a dog that lives together can be a family.
I thought that the most amazing thing was that the family simply lives in love and can not analyze it socially. Biologically it functions as a birth and sociologically contributes to the socialization of children.

Relationship between marriage and health

And the part that was fascinating was the part about marriage, and one of the famous characteristics of marriage is that it tends to be helpful to health. Happily married people tend to be healthier than single people. Unfortunately, married couples do not receive the same health benefits and can actually be healthier than their single counterparts.

Finding equality in marriage!

The reality of sad society that inequality lies in marriage was seen.
This is particularly prominent in terms of gender, which is the sad reality that women should give up their jobs and dreams for childcare if they have children.
However, I am glad that I am moving away from the ordinary male family model and the female home housewife family model to the egalitarian family model.

The positive and negative aspects of the elderly perceived by society

The big problem in our country is the decrease in population due to aging society accompanied by low birth rate.
I think the most remarkable thing was 'aging is social and biological'.
Aging seems to be a close but complex social element that is compounded in many ways with many social present situations.
As people grow older, the way they understand culture changes, and our younger generations call it 'wisdom' or 'smartness.‘
And this is the first time I have come to know the word ageism. It simply means discrimination by age. Our society has a sense of honoring elderly people, and in the welfare-like sense, they are prioritized, but in some ways they are neglected and neglected.
For example, data indicate that elderly people often have stereotypes.

Political problem in ageing

So they tend to be politically conservative and often have difficulty finding agreements with them.In fact, even in Korea , the elderly, who respected the father of the current president, tend to defend her even though they are aware of the current president 's mistake. (But I do not want to ignore them at all, "often old people," but I think some older people actually try to communicate with young people.)

Economy problem in ageing

And the elderly are being neglected in terms of economic productivity. Actually, young people are full of people who will work for new jobs. They are biologically relatively weaker than younger people. Therefore, we can not but exclude them from active production activities, and technicians will eventually be pushed out by brilliant volunteers who can work for a relatively long time, but are overflowing.
So our society opens up possibilities for older people who are willing to work and hire them as volunteers in public places like the subway.

Question

The conflict between young people (current generation) and old people (older generation) is constantly continuing.
What is the solution to solve this problem?

  1. I think that the conflict between young people and older people is more serious in Korean society in recent years.
To solve this problem, older people need to have an attitude of not ignoring young people because they are immature. Also, young people should not ignore older people because they are conservative and weak.
There is a need for an attitude of respect for each other personally regardless of age group.

  2. First, we need to know each other.
Because we can understand When we try to learn about each other.
Second, young people and old people should talk together.
When we talk, we do not misunderstand each other.
