Q1. Why fewer women enroll in college university in Korea than men?
I think it's because just female is fewer than male. I got this numerical statement from Korea national statistical office (http://kostat.go.kr/portal/korea/index.action) . Important ages are 15-19, 20-24. Because at that age, almost people go university. Following that data, sex ratios in 15-19, 20-24 are higher than 100. It means that female is fewer than male. So fewer females enroll university than male. It's natural.
Also, I don't think it's because of sexual discrimination. In Korea, sexual discrimination exists yet but discrimination in education got smaller. Girls take same opportunity of education even if family have less money.
