Social movements have various forms.
Everyone has beliefs and opinions.
When your thoughts and other things happen,
They can express their opinions in society.
By doing social movement.
People can oppose the government and cause social movements.
And Workers can cause social movements opposed to enterprise.
Giddens presented the social movement of modern society in four ways.
- democratic movements that work for political rights
- labor movements that work for control of the workplace
- ecological movements that are concerned with the environment
- peace movements that work toward, well, peace
The social movement has happened in the past, and it is happening now and will continue to happen in the future.

Aberle explains four types of social movements.
It is based on two characteristics.
3.Stages in Social Movements
Blumer, Mauss, and Tilly have described different stages social movements often pass through.
The path that they present gernerate a decrease in movement.
4.Social Movement Theories
4.1 Deprivation Theory
Deprivation Theory claims that social movements have their foundations among people who feel deprived of some good.
4.2 Mass-Society Theory
Mass-Society Theory argues that social movements are made up of individuals in large societies that feel insignificant.
4.3 Structural-Strain Theory
4.4 Resource-Mobilization Theory
Resource mobilization theory emphasizes the importance of resources to the success of social movements.
This resource means knowledge, money, media, and labor.
I strongly agree with this claim.
Even in the same social movement, there is a successful social movement and a failed social movement.
Question
From now on, I want to ask you a question.
There are many social movements in Korea now.
And The size and purpose of the social movement are diverse.
So then,What are the factors to determine the success and failure of social movements?
How can we get what we want ?

I think your question is a good question.I think that the factors determining the success and failure of social movements are the extent of the movement and the appropriateness of the meaning of the movement.
ReplyDeleteTheir reasoning can only be accepted if the reasons for social movement are valid.
In addition, social movements must have the power to deliver their voices to their desired destination.
