#Question.
The reason that Individuals come in to collective behavior, social movement is personal interest? or group interest? or national interest??
I think a group interest causes the collective behavior. The individual's idea and behavior weak and difficult to influence on society. Also, most people are uncomfortable with appeal their opinion alone. So, people use the group. Then, the individual can appeal their opinion easier, and their idea and behavior get power and become strong. In other words, the reason of collective behavior is the phased process, from personal interest to group interest.
ReplyDeleteI read your post well. Nowadays Korea is a country of chaos. My idea is that small conventions are meant to gain their own interests. I think massive rallies are done to gain social benefits. Because large-scale rallies are considered a rally by the people, but small-scale organizations think they want their own interests.
