W2: What is feminism?_Moon Jungun

Summary&Mention

I talk about feminism I more think about in usual, although other sociology theory is introduced in reading material.

What do you think about feminism? I knew that just people who struggle with women’s right. But in this materials, feminism is trying for minorities, people from all classes suffer discrimination. It is very wider area than I thought. Also it is interesting that there are many different kind of feminism and various views.

Especially, I’m most interested in separatist feminism. Women are oppressed by the patriarchal society, and men and women should be separated because there is no solution when they are staying with. Feminism I knew, is to insist on equality between women and men in this society, nevertheless it is surprisin 
g that claims the separation as a way to realize feminism. But is it simply eliminate inequalities that separate men and women? Rather I concern they hate more each other.

Question

Writing this posting, I seem to have a similar thought of feminism. Because I wish equality of men and women. I’d like to ask for you now, do you have any idea about inequality and feminism?
