1) my feeling about ‘Sociology’ and ‘Invitition TO Sociology’ lecture.

I like sociology. Sociology is also why that I support the Information society lesson. School days, My favorite subject is sociology. Unlike English or math courses in school life (hard to me), Sociology give me joy, pleasure and pride. In ‘Introduction to Sociology information’ class (My first lesson, In college), I have learned many interesting things about sociology that I did not learn in former days. So I will also expect to learn a variety of knowledge in 'Invitation to Sociology "class the second semester of classes. But I have a lot of concern and worry for this class. I have the anxiety and worry about English. But l will effort and focus in this class. The most memorable thing in Monday, Tuesday lesson is that sentence, “There in no answer in sociology.” In this class, I read the Wikipedia and I learn History of sociology, sociology research methods, The future of sociology majors. And I learn many thing that did not know about the sociology before.

 

 

2) Things I learned about sociology - Wikipedia links.

What I carefully read in Wikipedia links:

First, sociology is divided into two thing. Macro sociology and micro sociology. The micro-sociology deals with the interaction between people. But, Macro sociology is deal with a wide range of social studies. So I wondered about one thing; the difference between micro Sociologist and macro Sociologist about same Problem. so I think one Problem; Today, bully Problem is a big problem in social groups.
About the bullying problem. First, if I were micro Sociologist?
If I were micro-sociological research, I would search the correlation between students and psychology of Students.
But, if I were macro-social researchers? I search this problem In the collective dimension; the government deal with bullying issues how most effectively.
So, sociology is divided, according to it seems to be the collective or The individual.

 

Secondly, there are two methods in sociology search. In other words, There are qualitative research methods and quantitative research methods. One thing that apply scientific method in sociology is The difference between qualitative research methods and quantitative research methods. search method that apply scientific method in sociology is quantitative research methods. And The opposite is qualitative research methods. Former do Quantification. Conversely, Latter do In-depth analysis. So I thought, Sociologist flexibility apply Each methods in search.

I read the Wikipedia links, I was thinking the course of social and cultural subjects (taught in high school). Then again, I concentrate better.

 

Finally, the third is that sociology majors are active in various fields. I sometimes worry about my future. I still do not have a clear dream. So I worry what I do in my future. But I read Wikipedia link to ‘b’ and I am  so serprise. Because skill that learn to sociology is Contribute in many various fields. This fact made me happy. And I expect sociology will make better for my future.
