Summary:
Theory plays an important role in the sociology. As can be seen from study of Emile Durkheim, the relationship between various concepts is an important factor when to prove a theory. There are a number of theories in sociology. Structural-functionalism is a theory that the organization has the attributes to maintain a balance to changes in the environment. Conflict Theory is a theory that  conflict and competition occur due to limited resources. Symbolic Interactionism is a theory that people use the symbols to communicate and form relationships with others. In addition to these, there are various sociological theory like Role theory, Social Constructionism, Integration theory and Feminist theory.

it was a good opportunity to learn a variety of new sociological theories, including the Structural-functionalism. I became interested about the sociological theory and its features.

question:

  1. You asked, 'what is the example of Symbolic Interactionism in our daily life?'
Well, I can't talk about this such profoundly, but when I saw this question, I could connect this to our everyday life. Generally, we make some internet terms or slangs. Of course at first we don't know what this mean, but as time goes by, we can know that term's symbolic meaning through interaction with other people.
I think the other aspects of 'symbolic interaction' will have similar systems like upper statement.
