culture


The simplest way to think about culture is given in writing that you think about the difference between nature and nurture.
When the difference is the difference between the natural division (gender) and nurture (environment).
Biological features can be seen in the separation of chromosomes can be seen when we were born.
However, we are separated from the others in my parents' upbringing and learning by learning the language and culture.
Let's look at two pictures shown in W3.
The Pictures shown are turned “Human with culture” on a person under the naked wearing a mask and top with a picture and a dance.

Another picture title is "Human without culture".

In this picture a man was standing naked, without anything.
Cultural differences appear in the photos.
The man operation to the dance dressed shows that culture is bonded.
On the other hand, it is naked man standing presence would indicate that the culture is not binding.
Thus, culture appears depending on the clothes we wear or the learning behavior.
In summary, the culture can be seen to include the meaning given to objects and symbols spread across the board in social life and norms, values and beliefs.

So far Sociologists have studied the religion in different ways.
The purpose of research is to understand the religion.
However, it is also another purpose that ultimately religion to predict what to do.
It is important that sociologists do not evaluate what is right and wrong in order to understand religion properly.
Only that it is important to look at religion in relative terms.
Religion is a combination ceremony and the religious beliefs.
Therefore has the ability to control the moral and social norms.
Various religions make rules based on their own beliefs believe.
I think it made the law of religious faith are important.
Because this would help to positively function in society.
Also why religion continues to exist? because things are difficult to explain to the scientific world.
For example, it refers to the social psychological phenomenon of people.
In addition, people who believe in the parents religion from an early age, while growing, there is a high tendency that they are also believe that religion naturally.
So I think religion is an important factor in the process of socialization.

Question:
It is important that cultural relativism as a look to religion.
However, if religion is the norm, such as with racial discrimination, women's human rights violations?
As above, how do you cope with if religion is to ignore human rights norms?
I think that freedom of religion is important. But I do not know is that the extreme practices of the religions should be able to freely possess.
