After reading document, I first knew about feminist theory and integration theory. Those are good enough to attract me. Nevertheless I read documents, there is something I don't understand perfectly. I'll have to read again about those I didn't understand perfectly. It's very interesting to learn about something new that area I interest.
3) Question
I think qualitative approach is more persuasive than quantitative approach. What's classmate opnion about method of approach?Copyright for pictures : Google image.
Quantitative research's strong point is that it is possible to secure objectivity. Qualitative research's strong point is that it is able to present depth research result. I think method of research's persuasive power is different according to research theme.
ReplyDeleteThat's right. Meanwhile, I usually use qualitative approach.T.T I wanna overcome these tendency.
DeleteLike you, I thought qualitative approach is more valuable before I read 2nd week links. But now I think both of quantitative and qualitative approaches are important. I think they are complementary. Using only one approach might bring error or might have limitation.
ReplyDeleteI think using quantitative and qualitative approaches desirable too. But when I research, I use qualitative approach involuntarily. I want to overcome these tendency.
DeleteIn sociology research, Qualitative approach are more suitable than Quantitative approach(It depends on the situation what they are). But If The researcher has a subjective thinking in social data. How can we approach accurate social research?
