Sociology is the study of social phenomena, the process of social change. In addition, empirically study of the behavior of the individuals living in society, and even how to interact. Sociology of the founders were people who accepted the 'sociological imagination' Mill’s thought. Early sociological research has been in the same way as the natural sciences. However, the manner of the natural sciences, the social sciences are not suited to the 'prediction'. So social science research using quantitative and qualitative research that utilizes empirical data.in past, macro-perspective sociology mainly. but, modern research has been broadened in scope to the micro-perspective study.

Except for the relatively few people, most sociology majors will choose Sociology to enjoy it. In addition, students also satisfied with that picked a sociology degree and quality of education. And after graduation, most of them ready to work in many places, such as school, hospital, business and government. For example, Sociological studies of how to predict human behavior with empirical data is particularly useful in the corporate world. It also requires graduates who can apply Because sociology deal with many social problems, NGO organizations.

Question

In Korea, Humanites(such as sociology) was underestimated than other study.

So, I want professor's think and the other's that why this situation occured and how we resolve it.
