#a : Sociological methods

Summary and my thought

 This reading introduce used by sociologists in their study of social life.
 They insist that there are many ways to acquire knowledge to people. That ways consist of six sectors.   ( Authority, Experience, Logic, Tradition, Revelation, science).
 Look at this picture. There are many Sociological Methods.

Most of all, I'm interested in Quantitative and Qualitative Method. Because Previous semester, I frequently have used that method.



#b : Sociological Theory

Summary and my thought

  This reading introduce a lot of sociological Theories.
 Most of all, I am interested in Feminist Theory. Because, this semester, I registered class   'sociology of gender'. That class studying feminism theory.
 Today, in korea, men and women conflict in virtual reality(Internet).
 Representatively, community site 'ilbe', and 'megalia' conflict each other. They express the slogan "men disgust", and "women disgust".
 This conflict is getting worse, so we need solution to resolve this problem.
