Sociology is the discipline try to understand overall human society by studying macroscopic sociology of how society works and how social change happens and also studying microscopic sociology of human’s thinking, behavior and interaction of individuals. When Sociologists proceed study of society, Sociologist uses systematic and scientific approach. So sociology majors can improve in correct understanding of social structure, excellent insights, analytical skills and critical thinking skills, thereby sociology majors will be able to show good performance in their workplace.

I got a opportunity that organize my thought about uncertain definition of sociology by reading the text. Most of all, I’m interested that sociological imagination can help people to escape their small view and handle the social world with keen insight of society. I think it is the process that make constant effort for get sociological imagination to major in sociology.

I want to conduct more deep research about ‘The Law of Three Stages’ that Auguste Comte argue. I considered the comte’s argument is well-founded thinking because it seems to me that is pretty correct. I wonder why ‘The Law of Three Stages’ is considered to ill-founded approach in sociology. I want to investigate more about comte’s argument.
