Today article deals with race, ethnicity and gender. And I summarize it. Race and ethnicity is classified as nationality, tribe, religious faith, shared language, shared culture, shared traditions. And groups that have race and ethnicity have different features. Definition of race and ethnicity is difficult and have many controversy. And race and ethnicity have prejudice problem and discrimination. People have superiority about race and ethnicity. So, group that have superiority persecute and discriminate another group that have less power. This problem is that we must resolve. Gender is classified male and female. In biology, gender is classified as chromosome. men and women is different in many parts. Physical, brain, body classify men and women. So, social classify men and women as work. Sexism is discrimination against people based on their perceived sex or gender and this have problem in society. And many sociologists make theories to see gender difference. structural functionalism, conflict theory, symbolic interaction, feminist Theory.
2) Mention
I study race, ethnicity and gender in social perspective. It’s really interesting things. I want to learn more theory. Today, society have many conflicts between men and women, other races. racial segregation exist from long time ago. So, many people try to make improvements racism. But we should be more effort. sexism is big problem in Korea and other countries. We should resolve this problems.
3) Question
I have a question for you. How do we resolve sexism?
First of all, in education and culture, gender equality should be practiced. For example, male-center term exists. In current, these a lot of part is improved, but still exist. Like this, the change in small part is first. In addition, in welfare and human rights, gender equality should be practiced. However, fundamentally all people(female and male) should respect and be considerate each other.

I think that in order to solve sexism, it is necessary to break out the stereotypes prevalent in society.
