summary and my opinion
Ethnicity is a result of cultural interaction.
Which means that a person is unique to a certain ethnic group.
The races are rooted in biological classification, such as color or facial features of the skin.
Unlike race, ethnicity is not usually externally assigned by other people.
In the 19th century, natural scientists like Romain Pritchard, James Agassiz, Louis Cowles, and Charles Cuvier made three claims to racial discrimination.
First is that races are objective naturally occurring division of humanity.
The second is that there is a strong relationship between biological races and other human phenomenon.
Lastly, the third is that the race is a valid scientific category to describe and predict the behavior of individuals and groups.
In the past, race was divided by differences in color, face and hair color.
Also, it was universally considered that racial characteristics and intelligence differ from racial characteristics.
However, the advent of Mendel's genetics questioned the scientific validity of racial traits.
Perhaps the best way to understand racial discrimination is to recognize the combination of social and organizational boundaries.
However, the criteria used to classify races are mostly socially.
The debate over racial justice can continue.
Since race can have a significant impact on society, researchers must study at various levels.
2. Gender
Social scientists distinguish between gender and sex.
Gender refers to a culturally recognized social position.
Sex is usually based on categories based on genetics and genetic factors.
In this chapter, focus on the social differences between males and females.
However, it is also important that there is a definite physiological differentiation between males and females.
Gender differences in gender relate to social, environmental, and historical contexts.
Two examples of gender differences are the differences in workforce and education.
Women's participation in labor is changing according to age.
Unlike the past, women's workforce participation is gradually expanding.
It also appears in education.
In the past, there were many higher numbers of men in higher education than women in the past.
As you can see in 2002, however, women's enrollment rates were higher than men.
As a matter of fact, women have made significant progress.
However, there is still a problem with these developments.
For example, women in medicine can see lower salaries.
Thus, there are still differences between women and men.
3.my opinion
I think there is a stereotype about men and women in society.
These stereotypes have weakened in the past.
However, there still exists a stereotype of men and women.
For example there is a stereotype that 'the occupation of a nurse, nail polish, is a woman's job'.
Although this stereotype has changed as society evolves, I think we still exist in our society.
