Summary

Race and Ethnicity

Race is different peoples those has physical differences among other people for example there is skin color or facial characteristic. Ethnicity is social traits which shared in certain human groups. Those social traits could be tribe, religious faith, language, traditions. These days definition of race is changing

Gender

Sociologists has difference between gender and sex. Gender is concept related with society, sex is concept associated with genetic factors. Gender means the behavior of individual.

Female: submissive, dependent, emotional, receptive, intuitive, timid, passive, sensitive

Male: dominant, independent, rational, assertive, analytical, brave, active, insensitive

These traditional gender characteristics are literally traditional. They come from our ancestor to us and it’s hard to change these traditions.

Mention

I think trditional gender characteristic is really bad. In korea the tradition is rooted in society, and it didn't and won't change easily i really hate these traditions. I hope traditions soon eliminated from our society.

Question

i mentioned above i hate traditions but why there are still bad traditions exsist? what should we do to eliminate traditon?
