1) The best memorable content in Week11:The causes of war.
#Historians.
Historians argue that the cause of war can not be predicted. Only the leader's decision will determine the outbreak of the war.
#Psychological theories.
-Essentially, humans are violent.Especially, men are violent.)
So to solve this, they argue that women should be the leaders of the group.
In other words, the reason for the war in psychological theory is due to the inherent violence of humans. Thus, in countries where violence is suppressed and sanctions are imposed, the probability of war is very low.
-Historically, the leader that occurred war was mentally disturbed. Thus, the probability of a war is less likely to occur in a stable state of mind.
#Anthropological theories.
In the theory of anthropology, they look from a different perspective to the theory of psychology. In other words, if psychology theories concentrate on the essential violence of humans in the first theory of psychology, they concentrate on acquired factors. People has a war on both cultural and social factors. Thus, social reforms will play a major role in eliminating war.
#Sociological theories.
Sociologists have been analyzing and studying the causes of war for a long time. But they failed to get the exactly correct answer. Because the reason for the war is a combination of various factors.
#Information theories.
The cause of the war is the lack of information. Information also plays an important role in determining the outcome, strategy, and so on of the war. This means that the quantity and quality of information is the competitiveness of the country.
#Economic theories.
Economists think that the cause of the war is an over-competitive economic system. In other words, everywhere in the world, each country has their own limited human and material resources (especially material resources), so they each seek to get the scarce resources through war.
The pursuit of wealth and the monopoly of new markets through war are another cause of war.
#Marxist theories.
This theory is based on Marx's theory. Marx's hierarchical theory (proletariat, bourgeois) is the cause of the war. Conflicts and struggles between strata lead to war. Also, those who belong to the higher classes are trying to improve their power and protect their rights through war.
2)My opinion in this link.
So far I have studied the causes of war. Through this link I felt that there are many factors related to the cause of the war. In other words, we learned about the causes of war in various theories and various perspectives. A variety of results are being analyzed, depending on what perspective they are approaching. I can not say that something is right or wrong, but it is amazing that various studies are going on in each field. For a long time, war has given many people pain, anxiety, death, parting. I am eagerly hoping that the war in the 21st century will no longer occur. War takes us a lot. Because of the selfish greed of the ruling class, innocent people lose everything. Somewhere around the world, there is constant struggle and fighting. They will be living a hard life because of the war. I hope that the war will disappear and that everyone will live in a peaceful age. To the war end, the world must be integrated and endeavor to peace.
