I think that the situation in Korea is
serious now. South Korea is a country where wealth and power inequality are
intense.
When people with low hierarchy commit a crime,
they are subjected to big punishment. However, people with high hierarchy avoid
punishment. The problem of this part is serious. What do you think about the
situation in Korea now? The president of Korea committed a great crime. Do you
think that she should have proper punishment? Why does she try to avoid sin?

At present, the Korean society has a very severe hierarchical inequality.
ReplyDeleteAlthough corruption due to power and hierarchy is widespread in society, it seems that the problem has surfaced on the surface largely because of the incident related to Korean president.
The president should be punished as soon as possible.
Not only the president but also the people who committed corruption together should be punished and rooted out the source of evil in Korean society.
I think the reason of people with high hierarchy avoid punishment is a concern of money. Usually, in capitalism system, the wealth has the power. Especially, in Korea, the wealth have very very great power. The wealth are related to high hierarchy. Sometimes the wealth and high hierarchy commit an irregularity. If high hierarchy are arrested and came out their crime, it's big damage to the wealth. So, the wealth do their best to help the high hierarchy, using the big money. Therefore, the high hierarchy can avoid punishment.
ReplyDeleteIt is very serious problem in all world. i agree your opnion. But,i think this situation is necessary evil in private property country. Even if this situation is clearly bad, i think we have to tolerate this situation as long as we live in Korea.
