Summary:
There is a lot of controversy about why war is taking place.
Historians argue that war is unpredictable, although there are some situations that are creating war.
Social scientists, however, criticize historians 'point of view because they believe that war is not an accident, given that leaders' decisions are prioritized before the war begins.
Psychologists argue that humans are originally violent and that violence is revealed through warfare.
Anthropologists view war as cultural rather than spontaneous. Anthropologists also think that there is no point of contact between the various violences.
Sociologists use a variety of methods to predict the war. They use various formulas to analyze the war.
Information theory focuses on the role of information in war.
In economic theory, they think that war is due to economic competition.
Marxist theories argue that war takes place because of the class system, and that the revolution takes place and the war disappears.

Opinion:
The different perspectives of the scholars surrounding the war seemed interesting.
I have not had much opportunity to think about the cause of the war in the usual way. However, I came to think again through this material.
I hope that there will be no war for the peace of the world and that no one will be sacrificed.

Question:
There are two opposing views on whether war is predictable or impossible.
What point do you agree with? what is the reason?

2. Sociological Theory/Conflict Theory

Summary:
Conflict theory presupposes that human beings exist in society and they try to obtain more resources from limited resources.
In conflict theory, competition is naturally occurring because resources are limited and everyone can not have it.
The assumptions of modern conflict theory include Interactions, Change, Competition, Structural Inequality, Degree of Inequality and Revolution.
These assumptions are considered that conflict occurs because humans interact, and conflicts do not occur if there is sufficient resources available to all. and also think there are inequalities and a hierarchy formed by them.
Among the key terms used in social conflict theory, "class conflict" means conflict between different economic positions.
Ideology is forms of realistic and ideological consciousness about society.
A social class is a social location determined by means of production or property.
Deviance is the opposite of the dominant norms or ideas of society.
Proletariat means a class that does not own the means of production.
Bourgeoisie means a hierarchy with capital.
Capitalism is an economic system that privatizes the means of production.
Marx, Gumplowicz, Weber, Mills, and other proponents of conflict theory described various propositions.
Feminine Conflict Theory is the theory that women struggle to find their rights against men.
Postcolonialism is a theory that countries that have the power to increase their wealth advance into the world.
The world systems theory is a theory that states compete with each other and form a specific hierarchy of nations and interact with each other.
Conflict theory has a long history that began with early philosophy.

Opinion:
I have been able to deeply understand conflict theory through this material.
Conflict and competition in a competitive society seem inevitable.
But I hope that competition and conflict will not become so severe that there will be no exhaustion for everyone.

Question:
What kind of conflict do we see in our society?

What efforts should we make to reduce unnecessary conflicts?
