Sociological_Methods

People get the knowledge with a diverse method like Authority, Experience, Logic, Tradition, Revelation, Science.

Specially, scientific method is regarded as acqusition of new information based on proof that we can prove. Scientific method have 4 element.

1.Character buling  2.Hypothesis  3. Prophet  4.Test.

Also ethics is important point to sociologist. When they decide topic ethics occupy a big part of that. The most important provisions of the ethics is that participant does not harmed in the sociology survey.

 

Sociological_Theory

Sociologists develop a theory to explain phenomenon of society.

In other words, Theory is needed to explain why phenomenon occur and how phenomenon occur. There are many theory in the sociology.

Some theory are famous,because famous theory stand much criticism, such theory is widly used and quoted.

I will introduce interesting theory. First of all the theory of conflict was developed to explain the limits of structural-functionalism.

Symbolic Interactionism  is the theory that focused on understanding relationship between the human and society. Erving Goffman insisted theory of Impression Management. This is theory that each person live on the stage with putting on mask and performing own's roll.

-Interesting point

Among many theory, Erving Goff's Impression management is most impressive. He said, when we live in society each individual wear mask and in the stage of society perform own's roll and play with people. This impession was very impressive. Visible pictures introduce technology to do impression management. People live with caring about variey element and perform own's roll.

-Discussion

In the research of sociology, ethical element is regarded as important part. But unethical experiments has existed. I want hear know how people think this contradictory part.

And I want discuss what the standard of unethical experiment is, how the standard set to some degree.
