#a : Introduction to sociology

summary and my thought

 Sociology is the learning how people interact each other. so, sociology is related to many spheres of study.(like psychology, economics, politics, etc..)
 That's why sociology is important to our society, and human life, until now.
 Traditional sociology focused on social stratification, social interaction, social relations. But in present, sociology focus on gender, race, multi-cultural family,etc..)
 In korea, until now, academic ability(degree) is very important. Because that degree can be catalyst to movement of hierarchy. That's why I have transferred to hanyang university this year.

about first week class

In first week class, we study 'operationalization'. That was so strange. but we discussed with three examples, fully understood.

Summary and my thought

 This reading introduce what can we do after graduation of university or graduate school.
 There are many sectors(Educational Institutions, Private Industry - For - Profit, Private Industry - Not - For- Profit,etc..).
 Educational Institutions is occupied the highest in that sectors.
