Summary

 Demography is population statistics. The study of human population has same base to sociology. Demographer proves the large data sets to know demography. It is very difficult. Many index of demography relation to fertility/fecundity is exist: crude birth rate, general fertility rate, age-specific fertility rate, total fertility rate, gross reproduction rate, net reproduction rate. The demographic transition is a model and theory of the transition from high birth rates and death ratesto low birth and death rates that occurs as part of the economic development of a county. Overpopulation means the population is excessive. Every year, the population is increasing. Some of the characteristics of overpopulation are, child poverty, lower levels of literacy, high birth rates, little surplus food, low per capita GDP, and so on.


Opinion

 Korea and many other countries are aging societies. It is very serious problem. And overpopulation is very terrible matter, too. Our society must attempted to solve that.

 How solve this problems wise and peaceful? What can we do about it?
