Q: Why are families changing?
A:There are many reasons why a family changes. Economic reasons are among the most important reasons. Korea, in particular, has a high cost of raising children.
Parents in Korea send their children to school and learn various things from their childhood. This is because Korean parents take their children's university entrance for granted. This can be seen by the proportion of Korean college students.
As a result, it is economically burdensome to have one child due to the problem of child education and childcare expenses, so there are households that do not give birth to children and there are many households that do not marry at all.
