Summary

Data and Methods
#Demographic Indicators
Two of the most important indicators are birth and death rates, which are also referred to as fertility (see also fecundity) and mortality.

#Fertility and Fecundity
Fertility, in demography, refers to the ability of females to produce healthy offspring in abundance. Fecundity is the potential reproductive capacity of a female.
-crude birth rate
-general fertility rate
-age-specific fertility rate
-total fertility rate
-gross reproduction rate
-net reproduction rate

#Mortality
Mortality refers to the finite nature of humanity: people die. Mortality in demography is interested in the number of deaths in a given time or place or the proportion of deaths in relation to a population.
-crude death rate
-life expectancy
-infant mortality rate

In fact, I was not interested in demographics. So I did not think much about population figures or statistical methodology. By the time I read this reading material, I was able to know a little bit, and I could get a deeper understanding of sociology. When we analyzed society, we learned that figures and statistics about population could be good sources. With urbanization, the population became abnormally crowded into one city and the phenomenon of overpopulation became apparent. What do you think about this overpopulation? How do I resolve this? And how long do you think this phenomenon will appear?

  1. You summarized it neatly! And I will answer your questions. I think that to overcome the problem of overpopulation caused by urbanization, the population should be overestimated to the maximum. If the population grows and reaches its limit, then the overpopulation will be solved. It may sound like a bit of a nonsense, I think it will be solved by leaving it as it flows.
