Yes. I think the modern world is more peaceful than the past.
In the past, the frequency of wars was high due to territorial disputes.
Peace agreements were rarely achieved and many were sacrificed after World War I and World War II.
Today, however, there has come a time when such conflicts have diminished and problems have been resolved peacefully and rationally.
