I think the present is more peaceful than the past. Because people's consciousness is change so the conflict between people was reduced. For example, there is a gender inequality. In the past, both Western and Oriental were male chauvinism. Over time, however, male chauvinism has largely disappeared and improved, allowing men and women to receive more equal treatment than in the past. For this reason I think the present is more peaceful than in the past.
