This topic was a bit embarrassing as a sociology student. Because I have heard the word Demography for the first time.
Demography is a discipline that statistically analyzes and studies population details such as birth rate, migration, age, and sex in relation to various social, racial, economic, and geographical factors. When I first heard the word demography, I was concerned about the importance of sociology, although it is related to our subject in the statistical section.
However, I have found that reading demographic data is important not only for the population itself, but also for the study of theories and the causal relationships that link the relationships with the surrounding sciences related to the population. In this study, the prominent scholar Malthus sees that the level is proportional to the means of living, and that level is influenced by preventive measures such as natural control, balance between mortality and disease, abstinence and delays in marriage.
One of the interesting things about human population is that it is the best way to reduce population growth because economic growth automatically adjusts to the number of people who are shrinking as more people grow.
If the population is so large that it can cause serious pollution in some areas, a huge number of plants and animal species have been extinction.
However, this approach certainly creates some moral problems because it will cause great suffering for those who die. Others argue that economic development is the best way to reduce population growth because economic development can naturally trigger demographic shifts leading to a declining birthrate.
And there are many consequences resulting from population movements. These theories are basic, but also fascinating. Especially when I went to the cities before and after the development in the environmental results, I thought that the difference of the air was so bad that I was negative about urbanization. I realized that urbanization is not only negative.
When I looked in the long term, I was rather impressed. The birth rate of new city dwellers continues to decline. This can prevent overpopulation.
In addition, it calls for an end to destructive lifestyle technology.
Finally, it is said to minimize land use by humans and leave more for nature. It was really amazing.
In addition, economic effects, forest effects and leaves a lot of effects.
Here I have a question.
Korea is currently suffering from population shortages and aging.
What should we do to solve this?

Birth rates of Korea is becoming lower and lower. Government know this problem and make solutions. But I think their solutions are not practical. They don't know real situation. Subsidies from government are insufficient for citizens. So I think government should increase subsidies and give more practical solutions..
ReplyDeleteOnce the problem of population shortage is solved, national policies should be strengthened.
ReplyDeleteBut the problem of aging is an unavoidable phenomenon in our view.
Therefore, the state should make efforts to create an environment where it is easy to give birth and child care, and to provide adequate welfare for the elderly.
Population shortages can be promoted by the government.
ReplyDeleteBoth men and women give birth to a couple giving birth to a child and encourage childbirth. Also
You also have to provide money. Then the fertility rate will increase a bit and the problem of population shortage will gradually be resolved. And the problem of aging is to prepare jobs for elderly people and increase the number of silver towns.
